Amir Jaan received his classical training in the ancient art and science of Kundalini Yoga at SKY (The School of Kundalini Yoga). His mentors included world renowned teachers such as Guru Dharam Singh, Darryl O'Keefe and Bridget Layton Minor, all of whom had previously been students of the late Yogi Bhajan.
His excellent first DVD, suitable for students at all levels - Kundalini Yoga for Energy Balance – has now been released in the US, and is distributed by Yoga Technology.
Over the course of a decade, Amir rose from novice student to become Senior Mentor at SKY. He had worked for years with citizens, charities that supported people in recovery, young offenders & those with very particular special needs.
He had also built up an impressive private client list, including members of several Royal families, Heads of State, CEO's and Presidents of various Global Organizations, Top sports academies and personalities along with more than a few 'A' list celebrities.
Drawing from an experience gained by conducting thousands of public and private classes in London and across the world, Amir Jaan’s reassuring calmness suffices to enhance any learning environment, be it group or one to one. Many graduates from his teachings have followed his example and moved on to join the ranks in the teaching profession, and consolidated their practice of the Spiritual arts.
Amir has the ability to neutralize the atmosphere of both the outer world and inner landscapes of students, by his open-hearted sharing of his own ever deepening experiential knowledge of Yogic science, backed by his presence and his confidence of knowing; qualities only available to those with the dedication and patience for regular and intensive daily practice.
Amir Jaan has never allowed his busy teaching schedule to keep him from full participation in the Kundalini fraternity in London, across the United Kingdom & in Europe. He continues to work closely with his mentors and students to extend the reach and scope of this technology into many settings where the appliance of this life enhancing science can serve and strengthen, heal and repair, bring new hope and insight to all those who find and diligently practice this medicine for the twenty first century.
