With the release of Prem, Snatam Kaur announced the beginning of her solo career and, under the wing of wizard producer Thomas Barquee, many popular CDs followed, including Grace and Anand.
Founded by Snatam Kaur, Livtar Singh and Guru Ganesha Singh, and inspired by the teachings of Yogi Bhajan, Peace Family went into the studio in January 2000 to create their first recording. For over 30 years Livtar Singh Khalsa has been one of the most inspirational songwriters and singers of Kundalini Yoga mantra. His words combine personal insight with devotion to principals of higher wisdom. His melodies and voice create a mood of sweetness and beauty. His songs of love and inspiration that have been sung by generations of spiritual seekers, and his music will be cherished for many years to come.
Guru Ganesha Singh - songwriter, musician, recording artist, entrepreneur and founder of the Guru Ganesha Band, was an enthusiastic participant in the 1960's rock and roll explosion. When he embraced Sikhism and the Kundalini Yoga of Yogi Bhajan, he brought his love of Western music to the Eastern traditions of his new Sikh lifestyle. He was one of the pioneers of the new genre of Kundalini Yoga mantra meditation music, and since that time he has contributed greatly to its on-going growth and development.
