Update - Domestic Shipping Charges

We regret that, following regular and ongoing increases in US postage rates initiated by Postmaster General Louis DeJoy, it is no longer economical for us to continue with our long standing policy of free shipping to all US retail destinations. Shipping will now be charged, at cost, on all orders.

Economic Domestic Shipping

ALL online retail orders for delivery within the UNITED STATES will be shipped via USPS Media Mail unless you request a shipping upgrade to a faster service from the final checkout page. Normal delivery times are 4-8 days but without guarantee. Times are longer for customers outside the Lower 48. Media Mail travels by boat to Alaska, and also to and between the islands of Hawaii. Ground Advantage, Priority and Express Mail are available depending on shipment weight, but will be charged at normal rates. Whichever of these services you select, you will be quoted the current USPS shipping rate based on the gross weight of your order.

Ground Advantage: An affordable and reliable way to send domestic US packages. Offers a 3–5 day service for items up to 70 lbs.

Priority Mail: Offers a 2-3 day service to almost all domestic destinations.

Express Mail: Next day delivery to many destinations, some before 12 noon. Less accessible areas will receive a second day service. Our site will relay to you the USPS delivery estimate.

Media Mail:Normal delivery times are 4-8 days but without guarantee. Times are longer for customers outside the Lower 48. Media Mail travels by boat to Alaska, and also to and between the islands of Hawaii.

International Shipping

Global Saver: New fast, but economical, international shipping reaching almost all destinations. Delivery times normally 6-10 days.

First-Class Mail International: Airmail service for shipments up to 4 lbs in weight. Delivery times are normally around 6-14 days, but can be up to 3-4 weeks or even longer on occasion.

Priority Mail International: Airmail delivery for shipments over 4 lbs in weight. Delivery times are normally around 6-10 days, but can be up to 3-4 weeks or even longer, depending on destination.

Express Mail International (EMS): High speed service for those very urgent shipments. Items normally leave the US on day of shipment. Delivery times are normally 3-7 working days.

FedEx: At our discretion, international orders may be shipped via FedEx or another carrier. If you have a PO Box then please also supply a street address for such orders.

(Please note that International shipments may also be liable for customs duty, sales or other import taxes. We are not responsible for these charges and are unable to provide any estimate as to their likely amount - it is the responsibility of the recipient to pay them to the carrier at time of delivery. Also, customs clearance delays can sometimes lead to protracted shipping times).

Military Mail - Army/Fleet Post Office

APO / FPO: To qualify, destination country must be USA. Select from the available range of services. If you use another destination country, then you will be charged the normal international rates to that country.

General Conditions

Shipping charges are supplied direct to our site by the United States Postal Service. We may also make a small additional charge to cover the direct costs of packing and handling, but this is kept to a minimum. Unlike Amazon and others, we do combine shipping, and don't charge on a per item basis. We do not make any profits from the operation of our shipping department.

We undertake to ship your order within 2 working days of receipt. Choice of a faster service, such as Express, will not affect this time, but insures that USPS will get your order to you more quickly.

We ship to the address given and are not responsible for shipments delayed or undeliverable due to supply of an incorrect shipping address. Undeliverable items will be refunded less a restocking charge on their safe return to our warehouse. They may also be subject to a return shipping charge, something over which we have no control. In such cases no shipping charges can be refunded.

Our responsibility for delivery ends when the item is safely delivered to the mailbox or other receptacle at the given shipping address. If this is the address of a forwarding agent, then it is the sole responsibility of that agent to insure safe onward delivery to the ultimate address.
